Most Luminous Star In The Galaxy

The latest observations of LBV1806-20, a star 45,000 light-years from Earth, indicate it is between five and 40 million times more luminous than the Sun. It has a mass of at least 150 times that of the Sun and has a diameter at least 200 times greater.
