The Cunard Line’s Queen Mary 2, which made its maiden voyage in January 2004, is 1,132 ft (345 m) long, has a beam (width) of 135 ft (41 m), and space for 2,620 passengers and 1,253 crew. At approximately 150,000 gross registered tons (grt), the Queen Mary 2 is nearly three times larger than Titanic, which had a tonnage of 46,000 grt.
