The world’s highest bridge spans the Royal Gorge of the Arkansas River in Colorado, USA, at 1,053 ft (321 m) above the water. It is a suspension bridge with a main span of 880 ft (268 m).The bridge took six months to construct and was completed on December 6 1929.
